If the minutes from 5 years ago refected the wrong seconder. Would i put that through a motion of Council to correct?
Correcting a past motion
The Council read and approved the minutes at the meeting following so they approved the error and would not worry about it. Now, seeing that it was from 5 years ago did someone happen to notice this and/or how is it know that the seconder is recorded wrong?
I agree with comment from Crystal they have already been approved and anyone at the meeting following this meeting would have had the chance to speak up about the error, To add, seconding a motion does not mean the person is in favor of the mortion, it mearly means they would like to have the motion disscussed. If noone seconds a motion the motion is dropped and not disscussed. So in this case if it was likely going to be second anyways i would not worry that it was the wronf name on the minutes.
